Press Release - Candidate Filing Timeframe
The position of Mayor and three City Council positions will be on the November 8, 2022 General Election ballot. The City Council positions are four-year terms and the Mayor serves a two-year term. The candidate filing timeframe is from July 11, 2022 through 5 p.m. on August 1, 2022.

To be qualified for candidacy, you must be a qualified elector, residing within the ward (Councilor positions), have resided in the City of Lebanon for 6 months immediately preceding the election on November 8, 2022, and are not an immediate family member of a city employee or seated elected officer.
Detailed information is in the City Candidate Handbook which is posted on the City’s website at https://www.ci.lebanon.or.us/cityrecorder/page/city-elections. The deadline on which to file by fee or completed Petition paperwork is no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 1, 2022.
