Press Release - Notice of Construction (Intersection of 5th Street & Vaughan Lane)

Beginning Tuesday, June 20th, the intersection of 5th Street and Vaughan Lane will be
controlled by flaggers to allow for the City of Lebanon’s contractor to connect the new sanitary
sewer main on 5th Street to the new manhole in Vaughan Lane. It is anticipated that this
connection will only take a few days. 5th Street south of Vaughan Lane will remain closed to
through traffic for the majority of the summer.

Motorists using Vaughan Lane should expect delays for upwards of 20 minutes at a time.
Residents within the impacted area will be afforded reasonable access but should expect
periods of time when access to individual driveways may not be possible in addition to
periodic delays and other construction related inconveniences.

Residents are also encouraged to go the City of Lebanon website at
https://www.ci.lebanon.or.us/gis for continuous updates regarding construction location and
current road closures.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience as we continue construction of
the project. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this project, please contact
Engineering at 541-258-4923 or engineering@ci.lebanon.or.us.
