Lebanon Senior Center Cooling Center

For Immediate Release:  September 8, 2022

The US National Weather Service has forecasted excessive heat warnings and weather conditions that may result in extreme fire danger, in areas of Linn County. Consumers Power and Pacific Power are taking precautionary measures and have notified some of their customers they could lose power.

The City of Lebanon will be opening the Lebanon Senior Center, as a cooling center, geared toward our senior population (ages 50 and over). We will be open Friday, September 9th and Saturday, September 10th, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

We will also have transportation to and from the center, within the Lebanon area, during those same timeframes.  Please call LINX Transit at 541-258-4920, to arrange for a ride, at no cost.

Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have accommodations for pets, with the exception of service animals.

Please contact the Lebanon Senior Center at 541-258-4919, for more information.
