Press Release - Lebanon Senior Center Cooling Center
For Immediate Release: August 11, 2023
According to the US National Weather Service, many parts of Oregon have excessive heat warnings this week.
The City of Lebanon will be opening the Lebanon Senior Center, as a cooling center, geared toward our senior population (ages 50 and over).
We will be open the following the days and times:
- Sunday, August 13th, open 1:00 to 7:00 pm
- Monday, August 14th, open 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
- Tuesday, August 15th, open 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
- Wednesday, August 16th, open 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
- Thursday, August 17th, open 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
We will also have transportation available, to and from the center, within the Lebanon area, during those same timeframes. Please call LINX Transit at 541-258-4920, to arrange for a ride, at no cost.
Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have accommodations for pets, with the exception of service animals.
