Lien Information

Changes in ORS 93.643 and ORS 223.230 require the City to record certain liens in the County Clerk's office or provide access by an on-line electronic medium. The City has elected to record this information online at NetAssets. The lien information consists of local improvement district assessments, mowing charge assessments, System Development Charges, and nuisance abatement charges. The City's Municipal Code that relates to the Water and Wastewater System also directs that any charges that remain unpaid for more than thirty days, constitute a lien upon the real property for which the service was provided. The fee as approved by the Lebanon City Council, to access lien information is $32.00 per property being searched.

We are also providing information regarding Pending Assessments. These amounts are not due to the City of Lebanon until the City Council approves them. This information may be useful for those with an interest in the property. The amounts in some cases are preliminary amounts or estimates, and are subject to change before final approval of the Council. The City cannot accept or hold a payment for these, with the exception of the Cost Recovery Districts.

The UB Liens, Pending Liens and the Assessment Liens are available online at NetAssets.
